In process photo: The freezer lid is in the process of being constructed, the next step is to fill it with foam and insulation.  The fridge section has a divider that will allow for two separate doors.  Therefore, it will be only have to be half way open, providing better insulating the food.

Smart Fridge photo update:

Ok this is what the fridge looks like so far. Its coming along pretty well. The entire thing is fiberglassed, sanded down, and the inner divider/insulator has been put into place. Next step is to create the two doors that will sit on the top of this beast. More updates to come!

Our latest project is to design, fabricate, and test a fully functional “smart” fridge, just in time for the Imagine Festival at RIT.
This is an in-process photo: the fridge is stitch bonded together, ready to be fiber-glassed!
